Kirkjufellsfoss Waterfall Aurora
This was one of the most incredible nights I have ever been out with my camera. When planning our trip to Iceland I was really hoping that one night we would get to see the Northern lights and I could not believe our luck! This was our first night and we got to witness this amazing show! I spotted this composition on the morning when visiting the waterfalls just below Kirkjufell and as we were staying right by this spot I knew if the aurora did start to show I would be straight there and the first night we had not long been back in and just finished eating and as soon as it got dark the aurora started to show so I quickly got in the car and drove straight to the waterfalls. It’s moments like this that remind me why I love photography and how lucky I am to witness moments like these!
